7 Days
of Fasting

For health, clarity, and new energy

Right next to the forest

With plenty of space to do nothing

Many people long for more peace, clarity, and a genuine fresh start for body and mind. That's exactly why my mom Daniela and I created these fasting retreats. For a long time, I have felt that our house should be more than just a home—it should be a place we share with other people. At the same time, as a doctor, my mom has decades of experience with fasting and a wealth of medical knowledge. One morning over coffee, she looked at me and said, “I have an idea...”

Fasting has profoundly changed our own lives. My mother started fasting for health reasons – mainly to regulate her high blood pressure. I started because of intestinal problems. But every time I do it, I am surprised and touched by how much mental clarity and inner peace fasting gives me. It goes far beyond the health aspect and into spirituality.

Since my mother is a doctor and we have a large house right next to the forest, the desire to open up this protected space for you arose quite naturally. Today, we combine medical experience with personal support and our deep enthusiasm for fasting.

Our vision is to create a place where people can find peace, support their bodies, and get closer to themselves again. <3

  • We fast according to the Buchinger method – one of the best-known and most scientifically sound forms of fasting. Put simply, this means that the body gets a break from solid food and is instead supplied with freshly squeezed juices, clear vegetable broths, herbal teas, and still water.

Fasting begins with bowel cleansing. You will be given a salt solution to drink, which has a laxative effect.

We end the fast with a mindful breaking of the fast, during which we slowly and gently reintroduce the body to solid food. Last time, we had baked apples and pumpkin soup. :)

  • Day of Arrival

    • Arrive, take a deep breath, and start to unwind

    • Getting to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere

    • Physical measurements (only if you want – no pressure, no stress)

    • Introduction to fasting – what happens in the body and what you can expect

    • Preparation through bowel cleansing with Epsom salt (not glamorous, but effective and surprisingly relieving)

    • A shared start to the fasting period with meditation and group exchange

    Fasting Days
The days do not follow a strict schedule. Fasting works much better without any kind of performance pressure.

    • A gentle start to the morning – sleeping in, meditating, or simply existing

    • Various clear liquids in the morning to support fasting

    • Group gathering around midday with freshly cooked vegetable broth

    • Sharing circles, meditation, and on some days gentle yoga (absolutely beginner-friendly)

    • Plenty of free time for:

      • Walks in the forest

      • Reading

      • Creative activities

      • Guilt-free naps

      • Or simply sitting together comfortably

    • Optional program elements such as breathing exercises or small group activities

    • Evening sauna, relaxation, and diluted juices

The focus throughout is on rest, regeneration, and an environment in which your body can truly do its work

And very important: Almost everything is voluntary. If your body says, “Today it’s just blanket and tea,” that is just as right

    Day of Departure

    • Shared, mindful breaking of the fast

    • Tips for the rebuilding phase afterward (very important – the body is quite sensitive at that stage)

    • Closing circle, sharing, and farewell

  • The fast takes place in Mama's beautiful forest house in Dittelbrunn, Bavaria. It is in a quiet location, right next to the forest, surrounded by nature, with plenty of fresh air and surprisingly little everyday noise.

    By train, you are approximately:

    • about 3.5 hours from Berlin

    • about 2.5 hours from Munich

There is a shuttle service for arrival and departure—and yes, I will pick you up personally. 15-minute road trip vibes included.

  • Good question. Fasting initially sounds like voluntary deprivation – but for many people it feels more like a reset.

    Physical Health
During fasting, the body switches to ketosis. In this state, it uses fat reserves as an energy source and produces so-called ketone bodies – a particularly efficient fuel for the brain and nervous system. Many people experience more stable energy, increased mental clarity, and fewer mood fluctuations as a result. At the same time, anti-inflammatory processes are activated and the metabolism is relieved.

In parallel, autophagy begins – a natural cleansing and renewal process in which old cellular components are broken down and recycled. It’s a kind of internal reset that we rarely allow to happen this intensively in everyday life.

Many people report improvements in issues such as high blood pressure, digestive problems, migraines, or chronic inflammation. At the same time, the gut microbiome can reorganize itself, which in turn can have positive effects on the immune system, digestion, and overall well-being.

In short: The body gets the opportunity to organize and regulate itself more effectively.

    Mental Health
What surprises many people: fasting does not only happen in the body, but also in the mind.

Over time, a deep sense of calm and clarity often emerges. Thoughts become more structured, emotions sometimes become more noticeable, and the connection to oneself often grows stronger. Personally, this has become one of my main reasons for fasting.

It is not always easy – sometimes feelings surface that were well hidden in everyday life. But that is often where transformation happens. Afterwards, many people describe feeling lighter, freer, and clearer.

  • Because we are actually very nice. ;) And because we try to create an atmosphere that is professional, warm, relaxed, and a little humorous at the same time.

My mom has decades of fasting experience, is a doctor, and has an impressive wealth of knowledge about health, the body, and safe fasting support.

And I'm also involved—with my own fasting experience, a lot of enthusiasm for mental processes, and a great love for creating spaces where people can feel comfortable and seen.

Together, we combine medical knowledge with personal support, experience, and a good dose of humanity.
